FWC Launches New Web Application!
Have You Had a Gopher Tortoise Sighting Lately?
The Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission (FWC) is launching a new interactive web application to report gopher tortoise sightings. So, they are no longer using their phone application. FWC has replaced it with their web application.
Check out their new application at the link above. It allows citizens to submit the location of gopher tortoise sightings. The sightings collect valuable data for FWC. Similarly, FWC uses this data to help their conservation efforts.
